Let me just say... This weather! This ever-changing weather has got me sick for a minute or two, or three... but I'm back even stronger with plenty of newness coming your way!

(and also a new hair colour which I'm loving for the warm Summer ahead)

Roll necks have not always been my thing as it sometimes looks like I'm drowning in material but I was really into it this Winter & all the new shapes that designers have been bringing out. Hope it lasts a few more seasons...

 Dress, heels & belt from Forever New

It's always a tradition of mine to get a coffee from the nearest café before or after Jysla & I shoot. This time we found a quaint little café before we starting shooting that wasn't even open. Yet I ran across the road, ordered my coffee from elsewhere & sat down here to drink it. Little did I know that a worker was inside mopping the floors & wondering what the heck I was doing there!

I'd also like to note that I don't usually order coffee in such a formal dress but I first wore this dress last year when I signed my marital papers & it holds a place close to my heart. 

Every girl should own a LWD (little white dress) & a lace one with an open back is perfect for Summer, even if you are just sitting at a random place drinking coffee... x

I know I say this ALL THE TIME but I really do apologise for being M.I.A lately! I am seriously back with a vengeance! There are so many posts to catch up on & possibly an online store in the works. It has been extremely busy in the last few months & I let it get the best of me but, such is life.

Two & a half months ago I had a gorgeous (slightly bias opinion) baby boy weighing in at 3.3kgs & 50cm long. He is the joy of my life & together we learn so much each day! With that said, talks of an online store will include apparel & knick knacks for babies, kids & mothers as well as vintage + new clothing for women. I'm also going to be featuring new brands created by mothers/homemade businesses/up & coming designers.

On to this maternity outfit (believe it or not I was pregnant here), I must have worn this shirt countless times before wearing it for this shoot! It is a true basic in my wardrobe. And although I have never been one to wear pleather, I have found this skirt to be wonderfully pleated; another twist on a basic in my wardrobe.

I'm not usually one to pick bright colours-if given a choice I would pick black (safe) or pastels (subtle) but I went out of my comfort zone & chose this almost neon orange shirt dress from Wish for their style challenge. I wore it open to break up the colour with black & white; I've even worn the slip underneath as a separate dress with flats.

Even though bright colours are always associated with Summer... my conclusion is that brights are still in for Winter.

AUTUMN COLOURS

Autumn doesn't necessarily mean that it always gets colder for us in Sydney-except maybe the nights-so I always keep a cardigan on hand just in case. This may not be what many other people wear in months leading to the cooler seasons but I like to think it represents the colours; warm mustard yellows & deep wine lips are what I love best about this season… Not to mention the falling Jacaranda flowers.
